Training at Journey Jiu-Jitsu has been a fantastic experience. The school offers an easy-going, friendly, and family-oriented atmosphere that both my girls and I absolutely love. The class structure and intensity are perfectly balanced, catering to all levels of experience. My kids have been a part of Journey for 3 years now. We love the atmosphere and the open mat space. Their home school program is great for our kids. Professor Sage is so great with the kids in class, and we take full advantage of the private lessons he offers as well. Whether you are a beginner or competitor if you are in the area I definitely recommend checking out Journey for yourself, a child, or the whole family.
Professor Sage is not only a gifted Jiu-Jitsu practioner, but a gifted teacher as well. I am careful the influences I welcome into my son's life, and I value Sage's influence in his life not just for strong Jiu-Jitsu technique, but for his model of strong character. And the people that's attracted are just wonderful!

We love Journey Jiu-Jitsu! Professor Sage is an expert in jiu-jitsu, very good with kids, and our children love his classes. This gym is family-friendly while also providing high-level competition skill practice. Jessica, at the front desk, is friendly and helpful (and organized). She will answer all your questions and get you started! If you’re looking to check out a gym for your kids or for yourself, you can stop looking! This is a GREAT sport! Our family has trained happily since 2021.
