Great location, friendly, knowledgeable owners, delicious breakfasts. The perfect bed and breakfast. Our third time staying at Journey Inn. Still a 5 star experience.

I stayed there and after thinking of other B&Bs I've stayed at this seemed way over priced. Its not on Water or a historical location was actually hard to find. Can't review the breakfast as I was gone both mornings early riding with a motorcycle group. I can't see how food would boost the score because Its WAY over priced. Rooms were pretty much the same as every B&B I've stayed at but almost 300 a night....For WHAT?? my opinion should be half that.

Valerie and Eric are the best hosts. You’ll get great food, fellow guests and guidance on a trip out to Hyde Park and Rhinebeck. Highly, highly recommend.

I recently stayed at the Journey Inn Bed and Breakfast. The bnb is right across from the Vanderbilt house [or as most of is would call...a mansion]. I stayed in the room called "the Vanderbilt" - very fitting for the central location in Hyde Park of the "touristy" things I did which included the Vanderbilt. Breakfast was delicious, bed was comfortable and the water was hot and had great pressure. Included extras included toiletries and a blowdryer - which helped me not pack as much! We had a great stay at Journey Inn. Perfectly situated in the Hudson Valley, centrally located between Rhinebeck and the CIA. Right across the road from the Vanderbilt mansion, but still quietly tucked away. We stayed in the Vanderbilt Suite which gave us more than enough space and a private bath en suite. Valerie is the consummate hostess and an amazing cook. Highly recommended.
