I went to go see Dr. Chaiban with my mother who only speaks Vietnamese. She is very understanding and listens to my mother thoroughly, also providing her with excellent treatment and care. Thank you!

I had a very difficult time communicating with her. She was a terrible listener. My condition did not improve under her care. She wanted me to lose weight but I was not overweight. The medicines she put me on did not work and she seemed impatient and irritated. Office staff with the exception of her nurse was horrible. I did find a better doctor who helped me understand how much she was lacking. My current doctor listens. My condition is now under control and my weight is just fine. Do NOT go see Dr. Chaiban if you need anything but Synthroid. She told me I was fine, did not listen to me about how I felt, would not give me Naturethroid, and never did an ultrasound of my thyroid. I found out I DO have Hashimotos and Synthroid makes my hair fall out, an adverse reaction the the medicine. The antibodies test comes back as negative for Hashimotos, but the ultra sound revealed I do, which was discovered by my primary care and a great Endo.

Good doctor, but don't expect to be seen on time. I showed up 40 minutes early for my wife's appointment. We had our 16mo son along with. They called my wife back to see the doctor 15 minutes later than her appointment time. The doctor didn't see her until 10 minutes before we left which was an hour after her appointment and almost 2 hours after we checked in. Great office!! Staff very nice and professional. Dr Chaiban is a wonderful doctor. Highly recommend her and the office. Lab right in same building.
