Paid the $25 application fee. According to VA code landlords can charge this for background checks, credit checks, and employment checks. None of them were done. 8 months later and several calls and emails the only response I've ever received was "we don't handle applications." My application has disappeared and they want another $25 for another. Looked for an owner everywhere short of going to the county office to see who owns that property and it's hidden for a reason. The person I spoke to there was very rude & unsympathetic with my circumstances, she made me cry. I'll live in my car before I ever try to rent from them.
