I'd give less stars if I could. The Jotul F500 V3 is the absolute worst wood stove we've ever purchased. And it wasn't cheap. The distributor we purchased it from had more explanations (excuses) for our concerns than Carter's got liver pills. Our issue? It smokes excessively through the catalytic converter. We can't open the door to adjust the wood while it's smoldering because it backs up into the room. We had an issue with the glass panels shifting. We were concerned that it was a safety issue and wanted to hear directly from Jotul. I phoned and within about 15 minutes I received a callback from an expert technician who listened to our experience and reassured us regarding the safety. Very helpful and responsive.
Jotul North America What's it take to get a return call/email from a rep? Since it's been 3 weeks with neither after repeated attempts on my end. I'll just put this out there for all to see the issues with your product.... and never mind the customer service. The specific issues include: 1.
