Ya Joss used to be ok, but by far not great. Im a local of Annapolis and Joss can just remain for tourists now as far as im concerned. Used to come here alot too, no more need in the past 6yrs Annapolis 2012 has grown to have close to 6 other Sushi bars & Restaurants all only with-in a 20mile radius. Great Food, Awful Service – I have been a loyal customer of Joss for more than 13 years and a resident of Annapolis for more than 20. After the service I received at Joss on Friday night, I have decided I will no longer patronize Joss Cafe and Sushi Bar. Joss Cafe & Sushi Bar is The Bomb Amazing food, nicely priced. Girls and i go here every year for our night out and never leave disappointed. Although seating is a little tight...totally worth the squeeze and the wait.
Good Location! The place is awfully crowded -- but not withstanding the sushi and the service was quite memorable. I would not bring a large group but a good place to stop in for a lunch with a friend, perhaps.

Great lunch special today was my first time there. I was gonna order two rolls but the waiter suggested an awesome lunch special I couldn't refuse. Two California rolls , miso soup and extremely fresh salad for 6.95. The service was great and everybody says thank you.
I love sushi, I came to eat here many times. Fresh fish, delicious food, very small restaurant, and the price is very expensive than other sushi restaurant.
