We had a relaxing and rejuvenating time at Susan & Russ’ Stonewall Bungalow, adjacent to Joshua Tree National Park. Clean, with plenty of natural light, quiet and well equipped and furnished, it made the perfect winter getaway for us - from the Midwest! Susan was a great host and super prompt and helpful in her responses.
I am practically pinching myself that I found this home to stay in for a solo trip to the desert, it was just so awesome! The outdoor setting was incredible. It was remote and there was a lot of space to walk around and explore the property and magical desert environment, and it was super quiet...but still a few neighbors not too far away so you don't feel completely isolated. This lovely cabin near Joshua Tree National Park is your own private oasis in the desert. It is comfortable, cute and it's just fun to be there. Very nice touches inside and out. Very comfortable bed and couch. Highly recommended!
Desert Oasis Love this place! Our second time to stay here out of many visits to JT. We've finally settled that this will be our #1 choice in the future. The views, wildlife, outdoor enclosed fire stove, and landscaping are beautiful. It's quiet. Lots of comfortable furniture, nice kitchen, comfortable bed and dark, quiet bedroom. Love the hammocks! Location midway between the towns of JT and 29 Palms.
