Going through addiction is a painful experience for the one suffering! It is also a painful journey for the loved ones that care for them! I found Joshua Tree through a family member that had their life turned around after going through their program, so I had hope after witnessing the spark return in his life. As someone who was referred by family Joshua tree and its director mr. Engles has demonstrated more than a pay to pay service, this rehab has given more options to my ever growing recovery to seek my spirtuality and especially to my countless experience with other programs, Joshua tree not only set me up for my future weeks but a great moral guide to get my affairs in order as in my past it was difficult. Without their good people and its motto to see results I highly recommend to reach out because it is never to late.
Addiction affects the entire family, and this therapist understood that from the beginning. They not only worked with my husband but also provided support, education, and encouragement to family members. Their compassionate approach helped me through many difficult moments, and I will always be grateful for their kindness and expertise.
I really appreciated Steve's candor and penetrating questions during our sessions. Meeting in the comfortable confines of my home made the interactions more personal yet relaxed. All of the information given played out in real life experience.... "pink cloud" for one example. Steve was not just there for the job, he was there for my wife and I and "genuinely cares". I say that in the present tense because after the program ended, he wants to know how things are progressing, and will take a call if the need arises.
