We had only a short time to visit the park, but it was absolutely beautiful. We entered at the visitors center in 29 Palms and followed the driving tour road through the park, exiting at the visitor center in Joshua Tree. It took us about 90 mins to drive the tour, which included several stops. There are lots of places where you can stop and see Joshua Trees and rocky terrain right at the road. We even saw some wildlife (a jackrabbit) and found a cool rocky overhang at Hall of Horrors, less than a 5 min walk from the parking... read more
