Giant boulders - what's not to love! This special park holds a dear place in our hearts. We've been to all the national parks in California, except Lassen Volcanic and Pinnacles, and keep coming back to Joshua Tree. We've visited at least 5 times, including camping. There is so much to do, from scrambling over boulders and rock climbing, to a lovely stroll in beautiful Hidden Valley, and hiking up Ryan Mountain, the beauty and expanse of this otherly world is like nothing else in California.
