I have been a long time standing patient with Dr. Summers. While I like doctor Summers, more times than not I wait one to one and a half hours past my appointment time to see him. However, that is not the biggest problem. The biggest problem is his unprofessional staff. Not only do they not answer the phones. I have called many times and was unsuccessful in obtaining someone on the line to answer important questions both concerning medical questions and scheduling questions. I need a new doctor and doctor Summers came highly recommended. I was told by the receptionist that he is not taking new Aetna patients. Okay well, I’ll pay cash. I need a new doctor. Well he’s not taking cash patients either. Frustrating. I guess cash isn’t King.

He is thorough, knowledgeable, and explains everything in a clear, reassuring way. I always leave appointments feeling heard, respected, and confident in the care plan. I loved that the staff was nice. Doctor Summers took his time and didn't rush the appointment. He took the time to listen and gave some good advice to try.
