Dr. Smith wound up with a medically complicated patient (me) to address grade 4 basal osteoarthritis at the base of my thumb. Dr. Smith is wonderful about explaining everything. He is an outstanding hand orthopedist based on the beautiful surgical procedure to correct this issue. Normal patients would be fully recovered by now (surgery was on 1/6/26, but not me!
