I had a surgery for a small meniscus tear in 2016. He did a chondromalacia shaving and a lateral release. I am an athlete and a physical therapy assistant. I have a very high pain tolerance. I was in extreme pain for weeks after the surgery, so much so that I had to go to the ER twice and made several visits to assure I didn't have a blood clot due to the extreme swelling, bruising and pain when in the upright position. Dr. Schacter is a bright spot in what can be a very unwelcome process. Torn rotator cuff and bicep tendon tear surgery brought me to his office, but his bedside manner and the excellent staff kept me coming back. He’s a very thorough and thoughtful doctor and we’re lucky to have him.
Dr. SCHACTER was absolutely wistful with my 15 year old when she blew out her knee. He not only showed us everything in detail, he explained in detail...then he did an amazing job surgically fixing her knee. Also, he set up surgery in a timely manner!
