Wish we weren’t limited to only 5 stars. The care given to my wife was totally nothing short of spectacular. She was there for a complicated (elective) surgery and from the first diagnosis to the final discharge we were totally impressed by their patient systems for scheduling, pre-op, post op, and final discharge. The processes were flawless and smooth. All relevant appointments for tests were scheduled by Banner. We never had to make any calls and wait for callbacks from any office. Dr. Rathod is a poor excuse for a Neurologist. He and two other "neurolgists??" at. Banner Desert Samaritan hospital could not diagnose my neuro disease .... so I landed in their ICU....because they never heard of Myasthenia Gravis or even read my horrid AChR. antibodies scores of 2-10-2020..... So they trached and pegged me and sent me to Dignity hospital 24 days later !!!!
I arrived at my scheduled time for my surgery and both Marissa and Jordan were very pleasant at the front desk. While I was in the pre-op department. I was taking care of by Janet and Michelle and they were amazing. Operating room nurse Sue was very kind and professional and Nicole my recovery nurse was fabulous. I could not say enough for all of the kind people at that facility I would highly recommend.
What a joke this place is! I was literally in the room about 5 minutes total, the provider (Kevin Earlywine PA) walked in, said there is nothing wrong with you, did not examine me at all, did not take my history, said my urine was clear (no way he waited for the urine test since I had JUST walked in from the restroom); I get home and see he LIED many times in his H&P! I had to deal with Caeli for years. She either had a very low skill set and didn't understand simple requests that were fair or she just didn't care. Her ego was astonishing being she's not a doctor but a nurse. I've had doctor's call me when there was a problem but not Caeili. She wanted respect but couldn't give it. As long as you comply and don't disagree with her or have any special requests, Caeli is ok to speak with but just know, she calls the shots not you. I was the first and only patient in ER after having a fall. i was there almost 4 hours getting x=ray results.
I received excellent care from the staff at Banner Ironwood Medical Center Hospital in San Tan Valley, AZ. I arrived in the Emergency room in May 2026 with an inflamed appendix and was quickly and efficiently admitted. The staff was very courteous and helpful from check in, CT and Lab tests, follow-ups and the emergency surgery and post op. A.R, When I applied, I was told there was a sign on bonus of 10,000. I only received 7,000. Not sure if they took out taxes. I was never told. I was also informed it was mandatory that we had to float. There is one unit that has an extremely high acuity. I witnessed one of the staff having a medical emergency and had to be taken to the ED. I could not believe what I heard next. The supervisor actually said 'Is there anyone who can cover. Disgraceful. I left in good standing. I gave my appropriate notice.
