I was Dr. White’s patient. The practice sold out after he retired and Dr. Mackenzie moved on. The practice went to absolute chaos, rudeness and simply not caring for patients. I was told today when I was completely out of my medicine that they would no longer fill my prescription. I had rescheduled three times in the last year, most recently the nurse practitioner canceled on me same day. She canceled. I rescheduled! I understand things come up. I have three small kids and I live 50 minutes away from the office. However, doc... read more
After 20 years of coming to this practice, I will never return. The staff professionalism has plummeted since doctor Miller retired. I arrived within the 15 minute grace period after navigating a bad traffic wreck in Burleson but due to a patient in front of me and the other receptionist on the phone I wasn't formally checked in into the system until 16 minutes passed. The staff completely lacked empathy and turned me away for being a single minute late by their computer clock ignoring the fact that I was physically standing... read more

I live 1.5 hours away, I can’t afford to lose time at work, so I can’t make an appointment at the times they offer. However, me running out of insulin and asking what I should do should have never been answered with “just go to the ... read more

I’ve seen my hospital bills and the amount Medicare pays. No blame on Family medicine. They work hard and long hours. And exposed to who knows what. So kudos to Doctor Hoffman and staff.
My family has been going to one doctor here for close to 21 years. I used to recommend the office when others would ask me where I go. I don't anymore. I drive an hour one way to see my current PCP because I have known him for so long, and he knows my medical issues well. The office staff, including the Doctors at Joshua Family Medicine Associates used to be easy to get a hold of, and returned calls within a day.(if not sooner) I call now and wait on hold up to 10-20 minutes at a time. When I do get through, everyone is in... read more
