We were excited to find a Doctor taking new patients. We had an appointment for 3:15pm. They asked us to be there by 3pm to complete their paperwork. We are over 35 miles away. The 2 lane hwy towards hwy 55 was backed up because of the farm equipment ( combine, farm truck, and 2 harvest semi- trucks) were traveling very slow. We had to follow behind them for at least 15miles. We arrived 8 minutes after 3pm, which was still ahead of the appointment at 3:15pm. We were turned away. A absolute prince of a doctor !
Dr. Ellison and his nurse practitioner's and staff are all simply stellar. I feel incredibly fortunate that myself and children are under his care. They are all incredibly knowledgeable, personable, and warm. Dr. Ellison is NOT a "stiff white coat" physician, which are frequently encountered in our current Healthcare system. You always leave his office feeling heard and understood. Staff is always quick and accommodating as well; callbacks, refills, and questions always addressed promptly, usually within 24-48 hours.
