Rude, and make sure he has workman's comp for all of his employees First I contacted Josh's tree service he came out to look over the project. He said that he would send me an estimate, I never received one, second he was very critical as to our choice of trees in our front yard telling me he could cut them down for me. There is everything to like about Josh's Tree Service! The business end was responsive, timely, and courteous. The careful evaluation of our property and specific trees gave us options. The process of tree removal was amazing to watch, but real professionalism is seen when there are surprises and the team adapts and still finishes on time with quality work! We used Josh's Tree Service in Cooperstown NY. We had a large Spruce snap in half this winter, and fall onto a few other trees. He also removed a few dead and rotten trees on the property, with stump removal and clean up. Josh gave us the best quote (The best price) for the service, he's very knowledgeable and passionate about what he does, and extremely professional. Josh and his crew were here when they said that they would be. They quickly cut down a large maple that was standing dead. They did so with a minimum of fuss and great efficiency. I could not recommend them highly enough.

Josh Howard is a very skilled and experienced climber, I had one very tight spot for an old hemlock to be dropped and it came within inches of what he called. The other tree had a lot of large leads with it being a red maple, but he kept everything coming down in very precise places. His crew is polite, efficient, and the cost was very reasonable.
