I am a lampworker and in love with my new mini planet....it came with great documentation, a wonderful stand, and triple boxed. One of these days, I would love to meet you one day. I was lucky enough to hear your talk at Knoxville Museum of Art in Tennessee years ago.. I already have 2 marbles and one small paperweight by you.. This adds to my collection! In my glass studio, I also starting digging up old work, in some ways it like visiting old friends. Thank you I for making this work available to us all.
Josh is kind, gracious, witty, charming, worldly, mischievous, and an accomplished master in his art and craft. Visiting his studio, seeing him give a demonstration of how he does his work, and talk about how it's done, as well as stories from his life about how he's come to be doing it, is a memorable treat!
Josh Simpson is an outrageously talented artist grounded by the earth and an eye set toward the sky. His work has that wow factor that so many can enjoy.
