I hate even writing this because this place is one of my absolute favorites—but my shrimp and grits tonight were overwhelmingly salty. They were retuned to the chef and were brought back even slatier. Unfortunately, I wasn’t even able to take the returned dish home because of the continued over saltiness. My dish was comped thankfully but it was honestly so disappointing. Im especially upset because I’ve had so many amazing meals here before.
We’ve gone 5 times in the past year and a half and we were very disappointment the last two times. The service last night was awful! When the food finally came out, after a very long wait time, it was cold and my veal was fatty and tough! Not sure we’ll return anytime soon!
Balanced review. Not top shelf italian. There were dollops of marinara gravy on my chicken Parm and side of linguine that went on the side.lasagna was dried out and needed marinara on top. Flavor was very average. Clams were very small but wine sauce was excellent. Service was OK. Drinks, wine and cheesy bread were excellent. The place was LOUD.
