I've been ripped off! We called Joe Stevens and Sons to do some remodel work in our house in June of 2012. "Vinny" and his crew moved a wall, repaired drywall and painted. This work was satisfactory. When it came time to replace our kitchen cabinetry, they sent out someone by the name of Paul Nazar to do the work. Vinny said that Paul does all of the cabinetry for him so I thought that they worked together. Professional and Courteous I highly recommend Joseph Stevens and Sons. I contacted Joseph Stevens and Sons in 2008, when my home flooded from Tropical Storm Faye.I had extensive damage to my home from the flood. Terrible This was the most awful experience I ever had with home remodel/repair. I had them paint the exterior of the house. Vinnie Stevens is the supervisor who does the estimate and oversees the work. He'll promise quality and a 7 year guarantee, but you'll never want to see them again, so the guarantee is worthless, in my opinion. They could not have cared less about doing a good job. Job well done! Vince was very helpful and professional. He came right over to our house within a few hours of speaking with him and was able to give us a fair estimate to remove the popcorn ceiling from our home. His crew was able to come out within the week and I'm still shocked that the job was done in only ONE DAY! Popcorn ceilings removed, ceilings knock-down texture AND paint! Awful experience!! I had much the same experience as the previous review. Vinnie again was my contact. They were very messy. They left a cloth chair on the back porch where the sprinklers would get it wet. It had several white splotches on it from the workers. There were also white splotches on the carpet. I kept after Vinnie to clean the chair and the carpet before I would make final payment. It took 3 days to get that done and the carpet still was a mess but I was planning on changing it in about 6 months so I let that go.... read more
Highly Recommend this company I have to disagree with the last 2 reviews. I would highly recommend Joseph Stevens and Sons. We had our popcorn ceiling removed and replaced with knockdown. My husband and I were very skeptical of Joseph Stevens and Sons because of the past reviews. Since they had the best price around we decided to take a chance. Patrick was the person we dealt with.
