Dr. Son and his staff were absolutely great!. I was not looking forward to having my root canal. The procedure he preforms and my recovery were surprisingly quick and painless. I would highly recommend Dr. Son for those seeking an endodontist in the DC area. 1
Excellent doctor on every level. Great bedside manner. Highly recommend. He helped me in an emergent situation, was willing to stay late and did a terrific root canal. The office is also very excellent.

One of the best run doctors offices that I visit. Dr. Son is terrific. He gives total attention and ample time for all visits.
I felt like I received adequate care, and Dr. son seemed very gentle and skillful. But his office seemed outdated and could really use a touch up. The office appearance was very deceptive of the actual dental work I received. I suggest that if he wants to keep up with younger competitors in the area, a little freshening up of the office might be necessary.
My experience with Dr. Joseph Son was one of the best encounters I have had with a health care provider. His kind nature and office ambiance let me have an easygoing and relaxing appointment. If you need a root canal, this is the place to go! He explains the procedure in a detailed manner which puts the patient immediately at ease!
If you need a root canal, this is the place to go! Dr. Son is clearly a standout in his field. Everyone knows that a root canal is probably the most dreaded dental procedure out there but my experience with Dr. Son was quite the opposite. He thoroughly explained everything as he went along and the procedure was virtually pain free! Dr. Son is amazing! He is so patient, compassionate, and talented. I apparently have very complicated nerve anatomy, but he was able to perform my root canal successfully. He requested I come back for a 2nd visit to finish so that he could have sufficient time to complete it carefully (I was only charged for the 1st visit). He explained everything he was doing, tried to be as gentle as possible, and checked in throughout the procedure to ensure I wasn't having pain. My experience with Dr. Joseph son was not good. I wasted my time and money to visit him and get an evaluation from him. He seemed to me inexperienced and his front desk staff is very rude.
