Believe the bad reviews. I left his office knowing that I would let him touch my animals, much less me. Found a different doctor, was at AdventHealth for a procedure, was last one in the recovery room, waiting for an inpatient bed and boy-o-boy, the nurses had nothing nice to say about him. He's not a fan favorite, and nurses do not lie. Do you research, check out his profile on the Florida Dept. of Health. Not everyone can be wrong.
When it was time for another colonoscopy, my primary care doctor referred me to Dr. Cody. Right after the procedure was completed, unlike my prior colonoscopy 10 years earlier, Dr. Cody took the time to tell me what his findings were and recommended another colonoscopy in 5 years. I had some follow-up questions about the recommended diet. I had a great experience with this office! The staff was incredibly helpful, especially Mariah, who went above and beyond to assist me in getting a jury duty exemption letter. Everyone was kind, professional, and efficient. Highly recommend this office for their excellent care and service!
Can I just say I am heartbroken by the experience I had for medical professionals and patients that this is the example we are left with in a time of need, confusion and uncertainty. I asked to see Dr. Cody and was told that I had to see Nurse Practitioner because “she was just as competent “ she orders a bunch of tests some of them I am not necessarily sure I need one of them says my insurance may not cover and is very expensive ON THE BOX. I do not know what it will take for this office to Pre Authorize a medication that Dr. Cody and I discussed was the ONLY MEDICINE I can take, after trying many others. TWO MONTHS have lapsed and still I could not get Mariah, Heather, Jennifer or anyone else for that matter to take care of this for me. I called my insurance company and they too have called several times, the office with no success.
