My first appointment with Dr. Cody after transitioning from Dr. Feldman was excellent. We reviewed my GI history and current issue. Dr. Cody was very thorough and ordered some tests to address this issue.
I was very impressed with Dr. Cody. I was not happy with the scheduling of my appt. I was given an appt time of 1pm and they said to be there at 12:45. I was there and they were at lunch untill 1pm. So I had to wait 15 min. At 1pm I finished registering with the receptionist and I already had checked in on line. The person before we said she had an appt with Dr. Cody at 1pm and I told the girl I had an appt at 1pm with Dr. Cody. She told me no mine was 1:15. Really it should be no star or negative star!!!! Office staff is the worst I had a scheduled endoscopy and no one called me to confirm time. After waiting 30 minutes on hold I finally spoke to someone who said "oh yeah, it's for tomorrow. I'll have someone call you." Im still waiting on that call and 3 other messages I left. I even called florida medical and issued a complaint. No return call on my complaint. Totally unprofessional. I like dr. Cody though
the doctor was very knowledgeable and very personable. The only problem I had was the long wait. Once I got into the waiting room it was about 20 minutes from the time the assistant took my information and blood pressure till the time I saw the doctor.
I was extremely unhappy with the care I received in getting appt scheduled for procedure. They told me the date it would be, then told me via message the address and confirmed date. Long story short I went on day of procedure and I was told that the doctor was not scheduled there that day at all and that they did not show I had appt. This was after weeks of trying to confirm location with them . I even showed the staff message I was sent confirming date and time/location.
