Dr.Choi… I told him I didn’t want to take ssri type medicine because it has previously given me bad side effects like permanent disruptive tinnitus. He immediately seemed annoyed that he’d have to do his job and think of something else, so he didn’t. As a patient, I’m noticing long wait times, I just got referred to this ADHD clinic from Dr. Sharma at the Yaletown medical clinic and it could take up to two months before I get to see a psychiatrist—yikes, this is inordinate!

Wretched place. The miserable, short tempered nurses spend all their time monitoring phone and device use to the point of obsession. Ridiculous waste of time and an education. I was in an exposed glass room for over a week. Old school, out dated treatment of patients. I have always praised the nurses in my hospital experiences but this was Nurse Ratchet times 12. The building may be state of the art but the barbaric care sure is not. Awful experience.
