I called to inquire about contacts. Confirmed that I never wore them and hadn't seen an optometrist/opthamologist for 15 months. Was quoted '$99 for an office visit and $199 if you want contacts.' I made an appt for contacts. During the visit I was asked if I had insurance. I do & vision correction isn't covered. I was told that 'there are ways we can bill it to get it to go through.' I was also told that there was a $25 charge for a refraction test. That brings the total to $224. They told me they would bill insurance first... read more
