I had an appointment with Dr. Popper to discuss the possibility of a spinal cord stimulator. I will say up front that the Rep for the company dropped the ball and didn’t have all of the information on my case to Dr. Popper. However, I knew the procedure the Rep wanted him to see if he could perform so that I could get the SCS. I believe Dr Popper is a good surgeon as he did my ADR but he does not have compassion nor take time to listen. He is in and out in 5 minutes. I had more issues following surgery with occipital neuralgia, tingling numbness in my foot and weak upper cervical muscles that I feel needed PT but he would not get me in sooner or even try to help in the portal. I would honestly give zero stars if I could. He had absolutely no bedside manners. When I explained my back history on how I already had a discectomy/laminectomy and the build up to that point, also mentioned that I’m an athlete, he completely trash talked the decision, saying that the surgery was a fail and how I never needed it in the first place. So far being with Dr. Popper and his assistant and all the staff has been a good experience and made to feel at ease with a new medical center. I would recommend to others for their needs at this medical center. My out come of major neck surgery for stenosis has been very satisfying. They kept me very comfortable and out of pain. Made my 3 neck surgery and the others I suffered through and pain never left.
