My daughter has been seeing Dr. Davey every 6 months for scoliosis for a few years. We really like him and find him to be very knowledgeable, honest/upfront and reassuring. He does not rush us at all and answers all of our questions. Regarding bedside manner, my daughter and I both think he's funny.. a little socially awkward. Dr. Davey changed our daughters future in the best way. We will always HIGHLY recommend him. An old pediatrician missed her hip dysplasia and finally referred us to Children’s when she was 9 months old. Children’s took X-rays and almost immediately scheduled us for surgery the following day in 2019. They said her hips were some of the worst they had seen. Dr. Davey left me feeling as though my sons very apparent change in gait was simply a sign of his low muscle tone with Down syndrome. I have video proof on the significant change in my son‘s walk. I was not heard while advocating for my son. Because the x-ray didn’t show anything significant with the bone there was no interest in trying to assess whether or not there was any additional damage to ligaments or tendons.
