A caring doctor with a great bedside manner. Always on top of health issues.
As a surgeon myself, it is easy for me to write an assessment of my recent visit. Dr. Alkulal checks all of the boxes for a superb clinician. He is kind, compassionate and empathetic. He has the ability to listen intently, not just superficially. In addition, his clinical recommendations are not only effective, but he takes the time to explain the benefit/risk profile which is of the utmost importance in order for the patient to make an informed decision. He is truly a "doctor's doctor."
The doctor was great when I finally got to see him. However the office apparently scheduled more than one patient at a time and I had to wait almost an hour after my appointment time to see him. If I ran my business that way I’d be bankrupt
It is a pleasure to be a patient of Dr Alukal. He listens well, and is very knowledgeable and remembers my situation from visit to visit. He clearly explains his thinking about medication and procedures. His office runs on time and everyone is courteous and professional.
