We were referred here by local ER. We had a long wait as a walk-in. Once seen, my son’s burn wound was treated immediately. Treatment options were explained with no pressure on what route to choose. The doctors and nurses treated my son with care and respect. Follow-up care were similar experiences.
I arrived at the burn center at 10 am and 11 hours later after a multitude of requests for a single pain relief turned out to be a failure. They gave me an EKG without any prior discussion or permission. All in all I would recommend any other medical facility.
Came in for a burn and have been sitting here for hours. Other people charts are being moved before mine.
I have been going to the Wellstar Burn Center since December 3, 2024. All of my encounters have been great, especially with Katie the Nurse Manager, she's wonderful, very polite and have a pleasing personality. All the nurses that I have come in contact have been very caring and for that I am very thankful for them... Phillip Franklin PA, he's great, very, very knowledgeable and a GREAT listener.
