Dr Mets and his team at Sarasota Memorial is an amazing team.They removed my thyroid on Monday Aug 17,they managed to remove the nodules and the entire thyroid,even though one of the nodules had tangled around one of my parathyroid glands but was able to get it back in its place.I hear I made quite a mess with some vomiting,but I didn't remember any of that.Felt great when I came around and got to home around 330.Then Dr Mets had given me his personal cellphone number( I know who does that) Tues am I sent him all my question... read more
I can’t even begin to explain how amazing Dr. Mets and his staff were to work with. From the moment I needed surgery they were speedy and compassionate. The registration in the OR to the nurse to the anesthesiologist and the recovering nurse that was taking care of me was nothing but outstanding. Dr. Mets met me right before the surgery and was available in every sense. He let me ask questions and talked to me about all of what I was to expect during and after my surgery. On 4/30/26 I had a partial colon removal performed by Dr. Mets and he and his team at Doctors Hospital did an outstanding job! From the pre-op meeting where he explained the procedure in detail including the risks and answered all of my questions to the post-op meeting, he was very thorough and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome.
