I had my right knee replaced in February 2025. It was something that I should have done a few years ago. Dr. Kavolus was wonderful. He explained everything that would happen. When I went for my month follow-up visit he told me that I was about 2 months ahead of schedule. He is a wonderful surgeon. I am planning on having my other knee done when I am able. I would definitely recommend Dr. Kavolus to family and friends.
I had put off my knee replacement (both need done) for a decade because of the pain I expected and the severity of it all. I finally made the decision and had my right knee replacement in February 2025. The time and thoughtful planning he and his staff put into the pre and post op processes set me up for success, less risk of infection, minimal swelling and pain management. Excellent from beginning to the end booking my other knee today !!
I am a little late in submitting this review. I had my right knee replaced in Feb 23. I was told by Dr Kavolus right after the surgery that he had to work a little harder due to the extent of damage to the knee. I left with crutches, 3 days with a walker, 3 days with a cane. walking outside with cane after 1 week and back in my skid steer plowing snow in 1 1/2 weeks. I had my hip replaced by Dr. Kavolus in the Lighthouse Surgical Center in Hollis, New Hampshire and things could not have gone better. I never had any pain after the surgery and could sit and sleep through the night without any pain from the day of surgery onward. My physical therapist is amazed at how much strength, balance, and mobility I have only four weeks post-surgery.
