The 2 books on compost toilets are worth their weight in gold and should be mandatory study material on every high school up to university level related to science, biology, ecology, environment and everything in between. We "westerners" are such a bunch of water/nutrition wasters. If you run the figures and facts, it mounts up tremendous. Want to change the world ?? Knowledge is key, read these books and "just do it". It really does work !!

Mr. Jenkins’ book is inspiring, uplifting and entertaining. I’m a recent purchaser of a home with a slate roof in Michigan. Before this book, I worried greatly that our 94 year old slate roof was near the end of its life. Now I’ve come to understand the likely origin of our sea green, purple, and red mix slate, and that despite years of some questionable repairs, it could very well last us a lifetime.
