Very professional, explained every step of my procedure and the therapy that would follow. Staff especially Ruben is fantastic.
Although Dr. Horton is a great doctor, I must say his staff sucks. I just had surgery and I'm calling to see about maybe getting different meds for pain. I don't care if you call them 1 time or 100 times, they never answer the freaking phone. You press 3 to leave message for nurse and phone hangs up. That's ridiculous and not good for patients who are in pain🤦♀️
Dr. Horton was very professional, but my first appointment was canceled the day before my visit and was rescheduled for 3 weeks later. My follow-up appointment was scheduled for 2 weeks later, but it was canceled because of over booking, and the next appointment was going to be 2 months later. Dr. Horton plans for me was to receive shots in my hip for bursitis every 2 weeks. I guess his staff is now making the medical decisions.
Finally got an appointment set just to be told pos Horton won’t see anyone even if they weren’t seen by an actual ortho and it was an emergency room visit. My appt was cancelled and I was never called about it. 45 minute drive for nothing. Staff is God awful to at the front desk for not doing their job properly
I’ve been to this office several times as I see both Dr. Horton (for my shoulder) and Dr. Poulos (for my hand). The staff is always very friendly and the office manager is quick to resolve any issues. (I have had only one scheduling issue and it was resolved instantly.) For as busy as the office is, I am impressed with how efficient the staff is. There is virtually no wait time, which is unheard of with a specialist office.
