Dr. Horton refuses to see patients who have been seen by any other doctor within the last 3 years. No one should have to suffer in pain for 3 years just to wait to be helped by him. I waited a month for my appointment, just to have a scheduler call me 1 week out and tell me that Dr. Horton refused to see me, just because I had been seen by Dr. Sanders 2 years ago.
Dr Horton is good at surgery but horrid with people. I had a sensitivity to a pain med. Explained to him n his NP who sent me to him. He prescribed the medication anyway. I spent a week with hallucinations, sweats, chills, dizziness and utter misery. He was unprofessional in the hospital and yelled at me while in a haze of pain and meds because the hospital wasn't giving the drug I told him I couldn't take.
