My first impression of Dr. Hochman was that he was concerned with women's health and that he would be thorough with my specific needs and concerns. I found him to be too "comfortable" while performing the examination. On the follow-up visit, he was more concerned with forcefully telling me about birth-control. Dr. Hochman was the worst Dr. I have ever seen! I have seen many, many wonderful doctors associated with NYU over the years and he is not one of them. He refused to listen to my medical concerns, and acted like a macho jerk from the 1950's. He belittled my concerned and acted like I didn't have any understanding of my own body. His ideas and macho attitude were so antiquated I felt like I was one of the oppressed women from Mad Men!
