Hello ! I am writing a review on one of your nurses that took care of my wife, Debra Barrett! (Lauren Kosner RN) was working the day shift on floor 6 South tower on 1/28/2026 to 1/30 2026 when Debra was admitted. She was assigned as head nurse for my Wife's care and stay! This was my HORRIBLE experience at Banner Health “Desert Medical Center”! I went to Banner on Southern and Ironwood early morning as I was feeling bad the day scheduled for surgery. They did not do much for me as I was not doing bad by their opinion. Well, the other problem came up when they decided to transfer me to Desert Medical where I was scheduled for surgery on this day before Thanksgiving. Some nurses attitudes towards patients is unprofessional, the doctors are great, but the talking down to patients is unacceptable. I was admitted a week ago, put in a room with a gentleman that pisses and shits all over himself. Hes high maintenance, sometimes needing all nurses (4) at a time. That pulls all medical help feom other clients. How is that fair? Doesnt he need to be but in a higher care area? Ive lived on 2 hours a sleep a night now for 8 days. Botched frontal lobe brain tumor removal, and more damage caused by her follow surgery to find her mistake. Afterwords, an ENT fixed her mistake with a simple non-surgical procedure. Patient suffered for three years with damage to her sinuses and eye socket because of Dr. Lee's errors.
Leslie Rach is so very wonderful in every aspect. Extremely smart and knowledgeable, kind and considerate, takes time to explain and go over everything with you, takes all the tests needed and explains every one, absolutely the best PC I've ever had. I would recommend her to anyone for all their health concerns. She's always available in person, by phone or even personal email. I feel very lucky and blessed that I found her at OSH !!!!
My wife was looking for a Primary Care Doctor and was led to believe by this office that Mrs Lerner was indeed that . Mrs Lerner is not a Primary care Doctor , but a PA-C ( Physicians Assistant-Certified ). Today my wife came in for 3 things , a Prescription Refill , Possible Pink Eye and a Referral for an MRI . She was told that they could only see her for 2 things and that she would have to make another appointment to come back at another time . Banner Estrella could not find where my husband was bleeding from after he had his first colonoscopy even though he was there for a month. Finally having enough after one of the employees (I can't remember if she was a nurse or a lab tech) asked me and my adult children what we wanted them to do. I was so pleased with the care I received from this facility. I was sure I had a UTI (I am a retired RN) and when I arrived at Skyline urgent care I was told it would be a 60-90 minute wait. I explained that I needed to get home as my husband was dealing with seizures and couldn't leave him alone. They were very understanding and got me in sooner.
