I was grateful to be able to get an appointment and be seen by Dr. Staffetti and his staff. He took time to listen carefully about my situation. He took time to ask questions before he discussed a plan for my recovery. I appreciated his concerns and conclusion. I feel like I’m in good hands.
I went in with a gastric emptying study. Appearing to show gastroparesis. He said I had a “lazy stomach”. Before he finally said gastroparesis. He only wanted to talk about an EGD & Botox injections every 3-4 months by EGD. He transcribed while we were in the room stating I was “anorexic” twice, WHICH I AM NOT! My husband asked him about the different fats and he said he did know about different fats, just stay away from fried foods and fats.
