I was life flighted into Abrazo West Campus in January from the La Paz hospital in Parker Arizona, with heavy rectal bleeding. I was admitted to the emergency department at about 6 am, trauma one, I had to repeatedly ask for the needed bed to help with the blood, after using there was not one time a nurse or Doctor helped with cleanup or even took the full pan away, when my wife finally arrived after driving to Goodyear she took the 3 full bedpans that were in bed with me and at least got moved to the sink area. My husband had fallen and hit his face on a walk. We came to the hospital. We were seeing immediately by a PA named Kayla. She examined my husband cleaned him up and we waited for the doctor. Dr. Vogel came in examined my husband and said he needed stitches and some glue work. They also asked him if he’s taking a blood thinner. Since he was taking Eliquis, they gave him a CAT scan. Thank goodness he was OK and they did a good job of stitching him up. We were impressed with both Kayla and Dr. Vogel, both very professional.
Worst hospital I have ever been to. I have epilepsy and and I'm supposed to take my medicine at 8:am but the nurse gave me my medicine at 12: noon. The nurse also over dosed me on my meds. When I told her I felt the room she said it was because of the medicine. ... My brother was admitted to Abrazo Hospital, Scottsdale, Az for treatment of a urinary tract infection. Upon admission, we provided the hospital a list of his current medications including essential medications (methadone), requiring daily dosage. The staff failed to order and provide this medication for 4 days, and then when they resumed the medication he overdosed which led to his death on day 4. Should be 0 rating. Run from this hospital. Medics took my husband there January 31. Had never been there before. OMG, the waiting room was absolutely GROSS and staff were rude. People puking all over and watched Mexican people be discriminated against. Waited 2 hours before could get back to my husband. Curtains between patients - with people coughing and hacking. I asked to be transferred to Benner Estrella, but staff lied and said we couldn't be transferred. All they want it to do money, money, money, procedures.... read more

This was the most uncaring unorganized under staff hospital I have ever known or experience....I really doubt if President Obama was sick or needed to be seen not even him could get results after checking in at 12 leaving at 8 with no results let me remind you this is an hospital emergency room for central Phoenix...i definitely would not recommend coming here....i wonder why I heard so many bad things about here I will never come here ever again ....overnjghtstaff horrible job day staff no better....
One star is too high...I wish I could give it a zero. I went there on June 7, 2023 because I was having pain in my side. It ended up being appendicitis. The Dr asked if I could be pregnant. I told her "no" that I had an ablation on my uterus, have not had a period in over 5 years AND there is no way I could be pregnant. I literally told her it would be the next baby Jesus and to not do a pregnancy test. The Dr did a pregnancy test anyways. They never told me they did the test OR gave me the test results.
