Edit: Called at 458 for an urgent need and mid sentence I believe someone hung up on me because it was 5pm. So rude. I’m beyond frustrated. I am beyond frustrated right now. He has been my dr for over 4 years now. As a matter of fact I refer to myself as "his favorite patient"! I understand why some people don't get his personality, but as a Dr. HE IS THE BEST! Just busy:-) He's always been there for me....and my family.
My husband has been a patient of Dr. Cozzolino's for a year and a half. After a positive COVID test, he called Cozzolino's office at 3 p.m. to get a prescription for Paxlovid. He was told Dr. Cozzolino would call back. It's now 7 pm and the doctor has neither called back nor phoned in a prescription. This is especially appalling because my husband is immune-compromised from cancer.
When I recently requested a refill for my non-narcotic migraine medication, as I have done for several years with him and another 15 + years from previous doctors, he REFUSED, claiming that suddenly it was causing my recent bout of constipation, and that I'm "better off" suffering from excruciating migraine pain than that from a little constipation, referring me to a neurologist instead.
