Dr Carfi is a kind physiatrist with expertise from years of experience. He treats his patient (my mother 88) with respect and gentleness and helped relieve some of her unbearable back pain. Highly recommended. Lovely office help as well.
Saved me from knee surgery; recommended Physical Therapy instead and it has worked. Friends who have had the surgery with different surgeons and at different Hospitals, all still limp, complain of pain and the recovery from surgery takes a while. In all the years I've been going to him he only made me wait once and that was for 10 minutes. He listens to whatever I tell him, doesn't suggest medication for me since I don't tolerate drugs. I dread the day he decides to retire!
