My insurance says this place is in network, when I called to ask how that worked the receptionist told me I would have to make an appointment and when I was there she would have to see my insurance card to “plug it into the system” to see how much a visit would cost and what is covered. I explained I lived 40 minutes away and asked if she could just not take the card information over the phone (like any other place that accepts insurance does” and she again told me I would have to come in.
