Had I listened to Dr Taiwo, I would have died. Thankfully I didn’t listen to him and instead went to another hospital for a second opinion. Emergency surgery was performed for something he should not have missed. All he wanted to do was label me as an alcoholic because I had had one margarita after work. I rarely drink. And with my elevated white blood count, he sent me home instead of figuring out the cause.
If I could give no stars, I would. I used him for a Teledoc appointment. Dealing with him and Teledoc was the worst virtual visit ever in the history of my virtual visits. He prescribed a prescription for my child and then withdrew it all because he didn’t want to fill out the preauthorization form the insurance company asked to be completed. Even if insurance wouldn’t have paid for the prescription, I would’ve paid for it out of pocket. That was a very unnecessary dramatic move from a doctor who is supposed to be caring.
