I'm so very thankful for Dr. Mathews. From begining to end she did an outstanding job in my ostomy surgery. I completely did not know what to expect but, There was no pain and very very little discomfort involved. She is an amazing surgeon....... Her staff is also amazing. Shaba, Ms.Troy and Michelle are so very friendly everytime you call or go in for an appointment....I would recommend Dr. Mathews and her staff all day everyday to anyone. I can’t recommend Dr. Matthews highly enough. From our first consultation she was calm, knowledgeable, and confident about my case, which immediately put me at ease. Her team is professional and efficient—scheduling was quick and the pre-op process was streamlined and easy to follow. The surgery itself was over before I knew it. The long-acting nerve block she used made the first few days far more comfortable than I expected, and following her instructions (especially sitz baths) handled most of the recovery.
