This is one appointment no one WANTS to make but hey, life happens! Dr. Matthews was professional, kind, answered all my questions and calmed my fears. Thought I needed surgery and turned out, I didn't!!! Wooooo hooooo Thanks doc!
Had a colonoscopy and hemorrhoid band procedure done by Dr Matthews. When I went to have my follow up due to still having irritation and pain where the hemorrhoid was banded I was told that I’d have to deal with the nerve sensitivity issue Or I could have a surgery that is just horrifically painful (per the doctors description) I was given no direction on how to help the pain. She is not compassionate and has a dry bedside manner. I do believe Dr Matthews just likes to perform surgeries (not that great at it) and doesn’t giv... read more

I had an excellent experience with my Dr. Matthews and the entire staff. From start to finish, the level of care and customer service was outstanding. They took the time to thoroughly prepare me for the procedure and clearly explained what to expect during recovery, which made the whole process much less stressful. The procedure itself was a huge success, and I’m very grateful for the professionalism and compassion shown throughout. I highly recommend this office to anyone in need of great care.
