If I could give him a 0 I would. I saw him years ago and I was doing a colonoscopy. I woke up from anesthesia while he was in the middle of doing it he kept doing it by the way it is extraordinarily painful and my GI doctor at that time she was extremely livid that he would do such a thing. There was no anesthesiologist there to help and put me back under it was barely somebody who's a nurse and I don't even think she's an actual nurse. I will never recommend him
I had a horrible experience with an advanced case of diverticulitis about 5 years ago. Dr. Monzon saved my life. It was a 9 hour surgery, which he did not anticipate going in. He was so professional and empathetic and put my family at ease so effortlessly. He is one of those doctors who loves what he does and does it with a lot of love and grace. Thank you, Dr. Monzon.
Best doctor I have ever been to for surgery for Crohn's disease.
