Good Food The food is good, the serves are nice but the hostess lack the helpfulness and cheer they should have. Most of them seem to be 16 year old high school girls who are interested in hanging out and chatting with their friends rather than "hosting" you. Overall decent restaurant.
Great Mexican Food!! This is great mexican food in a fun atmosphere. It is more of a tex-mex style and it is great. Reasonably priced with great kids menu. They serve sweet corn pate with every dish that is yummy!!!
Great place to Eat You can't beat the Fish or Shrimp Tacos. For the longest time I wouldn't try the Shrimp Tacos, now I rarely have anything else. We've never had a bad experience. I only give it 4 stars, because 5 stars = World Class. Other than Salsa's in Galveston, this is our favorite Mexican restaurant.
The BEST in Mexican Food I love this place! They have the best service/best chips/best food that I've had in a long time. They have an excellent lunch menu that includes your drink for about $6.50. I also recommend the "pollo magnifico" entree that includes seasoned chicken wrapped in a tortilla and covered with jalapeno cream cheese topped and topped with melted cheese to boot! It's just wonderful.
Must Try Mexican Delicious Mexcian food. Wonderful chips, scauce, & espinaca cheese dip. Special 2 for $7 margaritia are great. Good food, great price. Friday nights tend to be very busy but for the most part are very fast and easy to get seated.
Very Good Mexican Food Jose Peppers is a great Mexican Restaurant. I do have one that I like better, but it is definitely number two for me. I usually get their veggie fajitas, and they include many vegetables, not just onions and peppers. Their black beans are awesome, and if you want to try something different try one of their specialties--they make a mean green chili and cheese tamale. Lousy Anniversary Experience Tonight I took my wife out to celebrate our anniversary at the Jose Peppers in Belton, MO. I grew up in Arizona and know what good Mexican food should taste like. It is terrible that we did not find it on our dinner plates. The meat on the fajitas that we had were without any flavor, the vegetables were not cooked well, the rice was way too sweet, and the beans were poor as well.
