I have gone to Dr Sanchez for years and think very highly of him. He’s understanding and easy to talk to. Even though I know he’s very busy, I never feel rushed during my appointments. I trust him.
How would you like to have congestive heart failure and have a doctor that doesn't know what medications you should be on? My wife was transported to the hospital in an ambulance, 6 days later While in the hospital Dr. Sanchez showed up in her room to ask how much of this specific heart medicine were you taking? My wife said 100 mg. He said you should have been on 400 mg. I went home that night and the bottle read with his name on it. 200 mg tablet cut in half and take once a day. Found him snarky and lacking in courtesy, bedside manner, etc. was to have a pacemaker test but check is set up for 2026. Not sure why but I am not impressed.
Dr Sanchez started off his relationship with me being snarky and kind of an ass to me. I asked him a question regarding my heart rhythm when my Dr. Dr Pieper was out. This was a few years ago. I gave him a second chance and he did a PFA procedure for Afib on October 29. Seems very competent but never explained the blanking period, told me that the procedure might take care of my frequent PACs.
