Get a second opinion! Dr. said confidently a simple granuloma. On second visit, when asked, said "not changing diagnosis". Well, better doctors in bay area have found it is paralyzed vocal chord and IT IS CANCER!! Waited months in pain trusting incorrect opinion... bless his heart, but he was mistaken.
Took my kiddo in after the useless walk-in clinic kept insisting she had "just a virus." Fortunately, Dr. Kaplan's office had a cancellation and was able to see us within 24 hours. Without a blood test he predicted Mononucleosis. A mono-spot blood test proved him right. I have been so pleased with his office's staff and care. I would recommend them to all my friends. Thanks, Dr. Kaplan.
