I ve sharp experienced pain in my left abdomen area. I have had diverticulitis last year. I called office on Monday expressing my discomfort and pain level. (5-8) The office called back on THURSDAY to comedown in 2 hrs for appointment. This I could not do because of other dr appointments scheduled for that day . I haven’t even had anything done with this office and I’m already looking for a new Dr. this office is a freaking joke. I had my first appointment for a colonoscopy/endoscopy on January 17th 2025, they had to reschedule that one for April 14th now for some stupid idiotic reason they rescheduled it yet again until October 14th that is just plain ridiculous. I would highly recommend seeing a different GI specialist. Sotelo seems to lack initiative and is very unresponsive with patients. After expressing my symptoms of chronic fatigue, lots of blood, among other things that were taking their toll on my work and social life, and after voicing my concerns that I may have Crohn’s disease based on family history, he didn’t seem to buy it and told me that usually Crohns patients are short (I.e. have stunted growth) and are in a lot more physical pain than I was.
