I could have had my surgery for free through another insurance but I didn’t feel comfortable with the surgeons on that plan because I am a Jehovah’s Witness and I needed a doctor knowledgeable about blood alternatives and skills to avoid blood loss. After extensive research and a highly reputable recommendation I opted for Dr. Leiva to do my gastric bypass. That was the best decision and the surgery has improved my life dramatically.
