As a fellow physician, I do not feel some of the reviews are a fair reflexion of Dr Genut. Vascular surgeons deal with a lot of chronically ill patients it’s difficult for them to prioritize given the overwhelming number of referrals they get. He treated my moms aneurysm and has been great. He has always been responsive and professional. My OR friends tell me he is technically the best in the area.

Never even got to see Dr. Genut. In August after diagnosis of subclavian steal syndrome, was told no available appointment till December. Few days later my blood pressure was 227/97 in my right arm. Went to emergency. Emergency doctor consulted with Dr. Genut who then said he could see me within a week. Thanks, but no thanks: Absolutely no confidence in a Doctor Who won’t see me for months.

Any doctor that tells you just they'll wait until you have a heart attack or amputation is not the kind of doctor I want and that is what doctor genut said to me 11 years ago. As well he told me to walk when I can't walk because the pain is horrible but I did try to ride a stationary bike and he told me that was wrong kind of exercise! That seems odd to me I would think any exercise you could get would help especially with your legs. Dr. Genut literally saved my life, placing a stent in a 4 cm aneurysm in my aorta. Every step of the way he was supportive, answered my every question no matter how stupid it was. You can absolutely trust him and his team with your life.
