Master Edward Kim has been a pillar of the Surrey/Delta Martial Arts community for nearly 4 decades. His self defense training, teaches confidence, self belief and discipline for life in overcoming any of life's obstacles. First experienced martial arts nearly 20 years ago; only to return to continue my training here. Great for Kids, Individuals and Families.

Great place for learning martial arts/kickboxing as well as improving focus and discipline. I was a student here for 8 years and learnt a lot. Master Kim is super nice and does a great job at teaching patterns and techniques efficiently. It’s also a great place to meet new people from whom you can learn new things from as well as grow with! Not only does Master Kim do a great job at teaching martial arts and kickboxing but always gives great life advice as well, and teaches you how to be a better person. I remember the first day my son and daughter met Master Kim in 2019. They were so nervous but Master Kim sat with them and put them at ease as they got to know each other. The was over 5 years ago and was a true turning point in their lives. Under Master Kim's guidance they have gained so much confidence. They leave class inspired and exited for their next challenge. I would absolutely recommend Jong Kim Martial Arts to anyone considering joining, or having thier children join.

Master Kim is an amazing instructor and member of the community, not only does he teach important fundamentals in martial arts, he also provides excellent support and discipline as well as motivation which was immensely important through my over 10 years as a student. Master Kim is a wonderful, hardworking instructor that dedicates his time towards students, which is marvelous. He is fully devoted to his taekwondo teachings and his friendly, loving approach to the students make them even more engaged in class.
