We recently built a separate backyard suite and used Jone’s Builders, Porters Lake. These folks were totally professionals and the process was very smooth. The company did everything right down to the building permits and design. Shay and Mark were so knowledgeable about the process and what specifically is allowed within the HRM rules and guidelines. I would recommend this company for any build but specifically for the backyard suite builds .
My new construction house was just completed by Jones Co in April 2026 and I am so happy with the final result. The entire process was custom from start to finish and I was able to have input the whole time. The lead designer Shay is amazing. She knew exactly what I wanted and has a great eye for design and detail. Everything in the house goes perfectly together and is incredible quality.
